This weeks blog post is about having fun when taking someone’s portrait. What do I mean by this statement you may ask? Simply put the camera looks “both ways”. If you are having fun while taking someone's portrait they will in turn will also have fun. I have also found that more often than not that a bit of goofing around and being a bit silly can put your subject at ease.
It’s a great ice breaker with both children and adults alike. Once your subject lets their guard down you can establish a rapport with them. The photo session will go so much easier and you’ll find that you subject’s real personality will shine through. Try this for yourself during your next photo session. You’ll be surprised by the results!
Come back next week for a fresh blog post and have a great week!
