Hi everyone and welcome to a beautiful Sunday evening! This week I'd like to tell you about a portrait posing and lighting workshop that I attended last week in Calgary AB. presented by Clay Blackmore. The workshop which is entitled "photograph everyone" and can be found here. From the start of the evening until the end it was a great experience. I had never been to a workshop that had so much information condensed into a single 4½ hour talk! I also met 2 very nice ladies that I hope to keep in touch with.
I have attended a number of workshops over the past 3 or 4 years and this one stands out as one of the most informative and useful yet. In one evening I learned how to better arrange groups of people, how to bring out better expressions, how to better pose couples, and so much more. If you have any desire to learn the finer points of portraiture and lighting then attending his presentation should be a high on you photographic priority list. He is that good! I also had the pleasure of going out for a bite late night meal with him and his assistant Mr.Calvin Hayes. There may be a special update on this blog post somewhere in the future but I really can't say anything about it at this time. I'll keep you posted.
That's all I have for you this week. Thank you for visiting and reading. See you next Sunday.
Till then take care. :)
